I'm, first and foremost, a reader and discuss-er of children's books. I love them for all ages, from picture books to middle grade to young adult. Check out my book review page if you want to see what I've liked and what's left me going, "Meh, not so much."

I'm also a writer. I'd love to write picture books and middle grade books, but, alas, I lost my child-like wonder somewhere 'long about my fourth decade. I turned all old and cranky. So I'm writing young adult novels, now, mostly. I mean, really. Who deserves getting stuck with an old and cranky lady writing books for them, if not teenagers?
