OK yesterday was just a practice run. I took it again tonight and there were all kinds of questions about adult books. So I reset the questions. Only now we'll probably get a lot of Harry Potter questions because there were so many HP categories. We'll see how it goes. So whoever hasn't read the Potter books will probably be a disadvantage.

It asked about Catcher in the Rye, Cinderella, Watership Down, and several books I have never heard of. Apparently it does alter the quiz.

Hmmm there's trouble in River City. I don't recall any questions on Cinderella or Catcher in the Rye. I wonder if it's giving each player different questions?

That isn't what it's supposed to do.

And, Becky, here's what an expert I am on children's books. Today my sister is reading my home page and she says, "It's not Robinson Caruso, it's Robinson Crusoe." You know, it's one of those things the spell checker doesn't catch so it's been up spelled wrong for three months. Doh!

ha ha.

And I didn't catch it because all my life I've called him, in my head, Robinson Caruso. LOL Yep, I'm the expert, alright. I did know the name of the author if that counts for anything. Probably can't spell it, though. DeFoe? =0) Nope, just went and checked and the F is not capitalized.

so there ya go.

The only ones I knew for sure were who wrote Catcher in the Rye and the glass slipper for Cinderella. I guessed on the others I got right.

Not too good. :-(

I played just to see how the questions were but I'm not going to count my scores. I'm not all that much of an expert, though. And I agree that some of the questions weren't about children's lit. I don't know what happened.

I can make up my own questions but I don't have time to do that every day. I just thought this would be kind of fun. Cheryl has hers set up as a Bible Trivia game it's a great way to spend a couple of hundred seconds.
