Absolutely! I think Dave would play along--eventually. Hahah--might take a year. Mick, I couldn't say. How about Donna Fleisher? Or Randy Mortensen or Jonathan Rogers if you want to keep with the children's lit angle. Or Donita Paul--fantasy also. I'd say tag people you want us, your readers, to connect with (but I would definitely stick with bloggers who have blogs, not bloggers who do comments. Heh heh heh.)

Becky, I did make out my response a couple of weeks ago, when Meg tagged me. And I got stuck on the last part. I had Heather tagged for one (and then didn't do it and she got me). I also had you tagged, saying you could answer in the comments area. And I had Bryan tagged. I wanted to hear Mir, since she's always so funny. I didn't know where to go from there. I picked Mick Silva, and Dave Long, because I do read them regularly. But I doubt they'd take part. I could not come up with the last one. I'd love to read Der Fielden on this. But I don't know if he's been tagged already since I don't read his blog regularly. Bet he has already done it.

So what do you think? Should I edit my post and tag these people?

Heather, when I read your thing about touring the States in an RV I thought, "Yep, it's that Kindred spirit, deal."

My family and I did convert an old schoolbus so my husband could get in and out and have a bed in it, and we drove from Alaska to Arizona and spent one winter. We wanted to do it every winter but couldn't afford it. We homeschooled the kids on the way. Loved being able to teach them how to read the maps, and loved visiting places instead of just reading about them. I'd do it again if I could afford it. If you get the chance, go for it. You won't regret it.

A side benefit is that when you are stuck in a thirty-six-foot long space with two rambunctious children you really have to discipline. And that's good for their little characters. heh heh

Great fun. I'm glad you played along (and glad I don't have a blog yet--heh heh heh. Come to think of it, I don't know as Bryan's been hit. If you want to change your mind, I'm pretty sure there are a couple more people you could effectively tag.)

Australia was on my list of to do, too, when I wanted to have "visit habitable continents" on my resume. Hahah. Somewhere I lost the drive for number five.

Ten Newberys! You do think big. Love that.

Thanks for writing these -- you are so funny. I know it's only a matter of time before you write the first of your many Newberys and go bungee jumping in Australia -- then you can HIRE someone to do all the housecleaning while you blithely pen your next award winner.

Looks like we've both got the same idea for a 50-state tour -- just gotta figure out HOW and WHEN.

Merry Christmas!
