The CW list on yahoo is a big and busy joint. Posts fly fast and furious and I often skim titles and delete, but if you need help, there will come an answer fast (in triplicate, at least).
The NF for kids list is also very helpful for nonfiction writers.
The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators is, in my opinion, an organization you must belong to if you are a children’s book writer. With conferences and contests galore, SCBWI is the place to be if you want to meet other fun children’s book lovers.
Check out their contests to win a free membership, even.
