So after I posted that last bit about Kent Brown, I moseyed on over to the Founders Workshops web page and drooled all over my keyboard for a bit. I came across this one with Stephen Roxburgh and couldn’t resist.
So I’m going. I’ll blog about it when I get back. I am so excited.
September in the Poconos. Six writers. One editor. Private cabin. Meals in the big house. Together time. One on one time. It all just sounds so flippin’ perfect!
I feel like the most spoiled person alive right now.

Wow, I can certainly understand “flippin’ perfect”! My plan is a little similar. I am off to the other side of Australia by car. I have made a solemn promise to myself to write, read, review in that order. I am taking 40 books from my tbr pile, and my WIP. Too bad about the scenery – I aim to work!

40 books from the TBR pile? Yikes. How long is the trip?
And, well, hate to rub it in, but…if you had a Kindle you wouldn’t need to haul all those books.
Oh, how I love my Kindle.
But have a great time, writing, Susan. That scenery…doesn’t it set your imagination going? I lived in Alaska for twenty years and there was a lot of wild land. I used to imagine kids hunkered down in caves, and hiding in the trees. Just looking at the woods would set me off. It gave me the feeling that there were mysteries there that needed to be investigated and stories that needed to be told.
