Yes, I’ve dissed Paterson in a book review, because my theology is at odds with hers, but I freely admit the woman is brilliant and one of the best writers I’ve ever read. So I’m very excited to see that Clarion is publishing Read For Your Life, a serialized book made up of Paterson’s essays and speeches.
And you can get the first one free through May 24, 2010. Mine is already nestled nicely on my Kindle and I’m going to subscribe to the whole shebang. Readers can subscribe to them all for $7.99. Thirty-three cents an essay, folks. That’s so cheap I can’t believe it. To get thoughts from such an incredibly smart woman for mere pennies, is, frankly, mind-boggling to me. I have to say, I like this electronic publishing.
